Terms and Conditions – Airport Lift – Airport Transfers

 

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply between Airport Lift – www.airportlift.co.uk (“the Company”, “we”, “us”) and you, the Customer, for all passenger transport services (“the Services”) provided by us.
By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Any other terms, conditions, or warranties implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted.
Airport Lift and www.airportlift.co.uk are registered trade names of Xpress Cars (UK) LTD.
Airport Lift UK LTD is part of Xpress Cars (UK) Group.
Although we do try to fulfil all the bookings through Xpress Cars (UK) LTD we do reserve our rights on some occasions to ask other partners to fulfil a booking that we cannot fulfil.

2. Charges and Cancellations

Service charges are calculated in accordance with the Company’s current price list at the time of booking.
Prices may vary depending on demand, time, distance, and any additional requirements.
Meet & Greet is available for a £5 extra charge so it can cover the parking charges.

Cancellations:
– Cancellations under 24h will be subject to a fee depending on the notice period given. Please see our Refunds Page.
– Bookings cancelled with insufficient notice or without contacting the Company will be treated as a No-Show.
– For airport collections, you must contact your driver within 1(one) hour of your flight landing. Failure to do so may result in a No-Show charge or an additional charge of £5 per 15 min extra of waiting time.

3. Payment

All bookings must be paid in full before the journey begins.
Customers may not withhold payment for any reason, including disputes or pending claims.
Corporate or account customers may have a spending limit applied. The Company reserves the right to suspend services if this limit is exceeded.

4. Amendments to Terms

Airport Lift – www.airportlift.co.uk reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or adjust pricing at any time with reasonable notice.
Any modification or special condition is only valid if confirmed in writing by an authorised representative of the Company.

5. Liability and Limitations

The Company will take all reasonable care but accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any items unless agreed in writing.
The Company shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profit or missed connections).
Delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, breakdowns, road closures, strikes, or events beyond our control.
Missed flights or transport connections for any reason beyond our direct control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
We will not take responsibility that any costs are to be refunded to any passengers who do not wait for their assigned driver and take alternative transport.

6. Service and Timeliness

While every effort is made to ensure punctual service, journey times are estimates only.
Airport Lift – www.airportlift.co.uk is not liable for delays arising from circumstances beyond our control.
If collection cannot be completed due to incorrect information or the customer’s fault, additional charges may apply.
A 15-minute free waiting period applies to all standard collections (excluding airports, seaports, and train stations). Waiting time beyond the first 15 min will be charged on a basis of £5 per 15 min extra waiting time. Waiting after the free wait 15 min time is solely up to the allocated driver and if the driver manages to contact the customer. Please bare in mind there is a high chance your allocated driver has bookings after your booking and might not always be able to wait past the 15 min free waiting time.

7. Luggage and Vehicle Capacity

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the booked vehicle is suitable for the number of passengers and amount of luggage.
Airport Lift – www.airportlift.co.uk cannot accept liability if the vehicle cannot safely accommodate all passengers or luggage.
For safety and compliance with taxi regulations, all luggage must be stored in the vehicle boot.
Additional charges may apply if an upgrade or extra vehicle is required.

8. Termination and Suspension

Either party may terminate an account or ongoing arrangement by giving one month’s written notice.
The Company may immediately suspend or terminate any account or booking if the Customer breaches these Terms or fails to make payment.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising under them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the event, ideally by replying to bookings@airportlift.co.uk.

10. Additional Information

Bookings made for travel between 6:00 p.m. on 24th December and 11:59 p.m. on 26th December, or between 6:00 p.m. on 31st December and 11:59 p.m. on 1st January, are subject to a 50% surcharge.
All tolls and standard fees are included in online quotes.
