Every UK airport now has two ways to be picked up by a taxi: kerbside (driver waits in a lay-by, you find them) and Meet & Greet (driver parks in the short-stay and meets you inside arrivals with a name board).
Kerbside pickup
- Faster if you know the airport and travel light.
- Cheaper — no short-stay parking charge (though most airports now charge kerbside fees anyway).
- Requires phone contact — usually a text or call when you're through baggage claim.
- Not ideal for elderly passengers, first-time flyers, families with young kids, or airports you don't know.
Meet & Greet
- Driver waits in arrivals hall with a name board.
- 1 hour free waiting from the moment you land — even if immigration and bags take an hour.
- Best for late-night flights, elderly passengers, first-timers, or when you just want zero stress.
- Included in our fixed fare on request; a small fee applies at airports where parking charges are steep (Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester T2 multi-storey).
What we recommend
- East Midlands, Birmingham, Luton, Stansted, Leeds Bradford: kerbside is fine — you'll find us in 2 minutes.
- Manchester, Heathrow, Gatwick: Meet & Greet every time. These airports are big enough that the extra £5–10 is worth it.
- Any time after 10pm or before 6am: Meet & Greet. You'll want that name board when you're exhausted.
