Central Nottingham to LPL is about 100 miles, and we typically allow 2 hours to 2h 20min depending on route and time of day. The two options:

  • A50 / M6 / M62 — the motorway route, most reliable, used for early flights.
  • A52 / A623 through the Peak District — scenic but slower and not one for a 5am check-in.

When to leave

  • Short-haul: pick-up 4 hours before departure. LPL security is usually quick (15–25 minutes), but the drive has the M6/M62 as a variable — Friday afternoons can add 30 minutes.
