What to expect from a UK airport Meet & Greet

First time booking Meet & Greet? Here's exactly what happens from touchdown to car door — plus how it differs at each UK airport.

Booked Meet & Greet for the first time? Here's a step-by-step of what actually happens.

Before you land

  • We track your inbound flight in real time.
  • Driver arrives at the airport before you land, parks in the short-stay, and walks to arrivals.
  • You'll get a text with driver name and photo and their phone number.

After you land

1. Turn your phone off airplane mode. You should have a text from us. 2. Walk through immigration and baggage claim as normal. 3. When you come out of arrivals, look for our driver holding a name board with your surname on it. 4. They'll help with cases and walk you to the car (usually 2–5 minutes away). 5. Off you go.

Free waiting time

1 hour from the moment you land is included in every Meet & Greet fare. That's not "1 hour from when we said we'd meet you" — it's from actual touchdown. So if immigration takes 55 minutes with kids, you're still fine.

Airport-specific notes

  • East Midlands: driver waits in arrivals, right next to the coffee shop. Very quick.
  • Birmingham: driver waits at the base of the ramp from arrivals. Well-signed.
  • Manchester T2: multi-storey short-stay right above arrivals; a 3-minute walk to the car.
  • Heathrow: driver waits in the arrivals hall for the specific terminal you land at. Meeting point is well marked.
  • Gatwick: North or South — driver goes to the terminal your flight is arriving at, not the one you departed from.
  • Luton: driver waits in the main arrivals hall.

What if you can't find your driver?

Call the number in your text. We're 24/7. Never assume they didn't turn up — they're almost always 20 metres from where you are, holding a board with your name on it.
